Paltrow deserved her Oscar
She proves herself to be a Shakespearean enchantress. In many ways, Paltrow's work resembles a retired acting style from Hollywood's Golden Age. Theatrical, slightly melodramatic, and always poetic. Sure it's "lighter" than her Cate Blanchett in Elizabeth, but it's not feather acting. I support her win and the rare charming presence she brings to the film. One of her best performances.
