Why? This is a classic horror/comedy with brilliant actors and acting. The banter between the characters especially the sheriff and Hector is fantastic and so entertaining.And don't get me started about Betty White. Even though her part was small she was hilarious when she was on screen. I could gladly watch this movie over and over again not just because of the yummy Bridgette Fonda but because this is such a brilliant and entertaining masterpiece of a film. It definitely deserves a better rating.

5.7 is probably where it should be but I thinks it's a fun movie

I haven't seen this in a long time. But I do remember liking it. Sure, it's not One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest but it is enjoyable. I liked how the giant Crocodile looked.

To each their own. I enjoy it for the campy creature feature comedy it is.

It's a fun movie and better than most films in the genre. It's odd in that it has an A-list cast for what is, as you say, a campy creature feature.

I've watched it a few times and have enjoyed it each time. Bridget Fonda is always fun to watch. Too bad she retired so early.

It's probably better that way. She has a good resume of fun films.

Excellent choices. I watch this film just for her. Single White Female was amazing, partnering with the extremely talented Jennifer Jason Leigh.

I haven't seen It Could Happen to You. The rest are good. I just watched Single White Female for the first time a few years ago and was surprised by how good it was.

While she wasn't the lead in these, I would also add Singles and A Simple Plan. And Kiss of the Dragon was a pretty good martial arts movie as well.

It could happen to you is pretty typical of a 90's romance, but I can't help but like it. I miss the 90's "I love NY" movies. The city was always a character in itself.

A simple plan was good. I don't remember singles so I'll check it out. I'll have to check out kids of the dragon. That one slid under my radar.

A Simple Plan is a great "winter" movie. I always watch it when it's cold outside, kind of like Fargo. In fact, even though A Simple Plan is directed by Sam Raimi it feels to me a lot like a Coen movie.

Singles is like a 90s time capsule. It was made in Seattle in the early 90s and very much brings the vibe and feel of that era to life.

Kiss of the Dragon is a Jet Li movie. If you like Jet, definitely give it a look.
