I never realized this ...

Brendan Gleeson owned this film, and he wasn't even the funny one! Starting from the very beginning with the 1st diver, every single jab, insult, mental and physical altercation involved him. He was the stand alone brunt of every joke and practically every comedic line. And it wasn't like he was some dumb country bumpkin. He was the sheriff. A professional, only completely out of his element. His reactions and facial expressions throughout were absolutely priceless. White's lines, Platt's lines, Fonda's slaps were all awesome, but they were all consequentially directed at Gleeson.

I loved Gleeson in this film. The way he labelled everyone as some form of "sarcastic"

When in doubt.... ADD MORE WINE!!!!!!!
