Unsimulated inter course and alternate scene?

Just curious, do you think Kate Winslet and Harvey Keitel had actual intercourse in the sex scene? Looked pretty real, could hear some thrusting with Kate asking Keitel not to finish in her, Keitel then doing so groaning loudly. Saw on IMDb trivia that she could have ended pregnant with his baby, don’t know if there’s any truth to that.
Also, heard there was an alternate sex scene in the Australian VHS version where the intimate scene is longer. Would like to see it, but haven’t been able to find the Australian VHS as I live in the UK. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction or possibly send a link to this alternative version, or a video of it if possible? Many thanks
