Is this film any good? It’s always on the cable menu somewhere, like meatloaf on a diner menu. It seems kind of desperate for attention. Nicole Kidman always overacts so not sure I can tolerate that for long. So should I watch?
shareI watched it two nights ago and thought it was surprisingly good. I avoided it for a long time because I thought it was a totally different kind of movie but I ended up really liking it.
The cast is amazing, the cinematography is top notch, and the story is good as well with a nice mix of serious fare and well-written humor.
