Who could possibly replace him?
Or would they just end the show?
shareSteve Harvey.
shareHell no. There is enough cheating that goes on with Family Feud. We don't need Jeopardy to become the new show for cheaters.
shareHarvey? No, not a comedian. It should be someone dignified, but with a sense of humor, like Trebek. It should also be someone who, on-camera, at least, is not political.
shareI don’t think he can talk fast & articulate enough. Plus, NO opportunities for “jokes”.
shareI hope it's not going to be some unqualified person from liberal Hollywood.
Like Drew Carey on The Price is Right (not necessarily a Hollywood liberal but certainly unqualified to be a game show host)
What's your problem with Carey as the host? I've seen it a number of times since he's taken over the hosting of the show and I haven't seen anything outrageous.
shareI'm almost certain they will continue the show, but for me as a viewer, it will have ended.
shareHe ain't the first, he won't be the last, and he was always going to retire sooner or later. I should imagine they'll hire a distinguished actor looking for a cushy job to sail into retirement with. All these gameshow jobs seem to go to actors now.
shareThere was a host prior to him so they will probably find a new host eventually. I wonder if there will be a few years before they relaunch though. I would be fine with a relatively unknown.
shareDan Patrick.
shareI will repeat -- Dan Patrick !
