She didn't waste anytime finding someone else.

The "Love of his Life" waited only a few months before she moved on and found some one else.
Makes me wonder if she was involved with the new guy prior to loosing Chuck.

Didn't she say 'I always knew you were alive' near the end? In that case why the hell marry another guy!

It was his dentist, Jim Spalding. Chuck wanted to hook him up with Wilson. I guess Wilson was gay.

The more I watch this I never get the feeling she was into Chuck as much as he was into her. They were both headed down different career paths even without Chuck being lost at sea. It was never meant to be.

For some reason I thought she got knocked up before they were married. It's possible she mourned Chuck for two years, then was urged by her family to move on. So she started dating the dentist, put out for him, and he slipped one past the goalie. Since she was already older and didn't want to risk one of her last chances to have a family, they had a "shotgun" wedding, bought a house, and had the baby. And while she's content with her life, she wasn't really happy, and when Chuck reappeared, she started kicking herself for not holding out hope longer.
