Despite the fan consensus, Jurassic Park III's monster-centric action makes the movie a better sequel than the draggy, overstuffed The Lost World.
In anticipation for JW: Dominion, I started watching the previous JP movies, including this one. I watched this for the first time since it came out in theaters. At the time, I recalled it being all action. But there was more story to it this time then I remember. I liked it more than Lost World. Not a bad film. I liked it.
The end of the film hinted at a JP 4 that I guess never really materialized.

shareJP III is fucking atrocious. Joe Johnston has no idea what he’s doing and creates none of the tension that Spielberg is such a master at. The Lost World, while flawed, is vastly superior in every way.
