This film is beautiful.

Much like Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, the manipulation of lights to amplify the atmosphere is done brilliantly here.

It deserves a Blu-ray release... any word on that?

It took a while but they made up for it with a very extensive release also in 4K.
