STAR WARS connection
There are lots of connections especially with Eric and Red.
A couple of other things I picked up were the episode where Eric and Donna go into couples counseling they don't use "pastor Dan". They used Billy Dee Williams. (later in Star Wars but we all knew that)
Secondly Eric is braying about the legendary green light saber. That was the one Luke built for himself but it doesn't show up until "Return of the Jedi" (1983). Goof maybe?
