just noticed this has popped up on my Netflix and was wondering if it's worth a watch? not a fan of ashton but i do like american TV comedy in general.

Yes. It stands alone as a good sitcom. If you happened to have grown up in the 70's, that makes it even better.

I find it unfunny and the the characters extremely annoying.

If yo like American sitcoms usually then definitely, this is one of the best.
