In the end of season 7, in the motel room in Chicago? It just kind of came out of no where didn't it?

They were broken up. Also it was intentionally unclear whether or not anything had even happened with Kelso.

That was season 5. Not what OP is talking about. But yeah, that happened, and then they got back together early season 6.

Well, it's because he's was her ex-boyfriend. She did unclear things.

There's something wrong with Esther.

It was stated specifically that nothing had yet happened with Kelso, simply that it was going to. What I hated was that Hyde was ready to marry her but once that happened all his growth and love for her disappeared and same with her and they went back to the same old characters they used to be.

I don't think anything happened or was going to happen. We all know at any opportunity kelso or fez would come on to either Jackie or Donna. I think Kelso saw Jackie was vulnerable and tried to take advantage of the situation. She probably went in the bathroom to change out of her travel clothes and wash her face (because she was probably crying) and kelso just took off his clothes under the assumption that she was vulnerable and could not resist him.

Actually they made it VERY clear that Jackie DID have sex with Kelso.

When Kelso comes in he is saying "Jackie I checked no one could see us doing it from the parking lot..."

And Jackie didn't need to change out of her 'travel clothes' she had already been staying at the motel in Chicago for at least a few days.
