Ironic what truly made him a Superman
Seeing as Christopher died soon after, it is odd seeing him in such a vulnerable yet also very strong state. I thinm it was incredibly brave of him to play this part. And although it didn't take a large amount of skill because it was all very real for him, I commend him the most for simply "getting on with it" and living as full as he could. I do wonder if his family finds it hard watching any of his movies, either from before, or after the injury. On another note, when I was about 12 or 13 my mother took me to see him speak at a seminar in Utah not long after his injury and though I was very young and don't remember all that was said, what stayed with me was his beautiful presence. He came off so pure, strong, and positive. I sensed no amount of resentment for what had happened to him..which for someone who had previously been at the peak would have been easy to feel. He was a truly bright spirit, and I believe he was brought to this earth to make a powerful mark, and this he did. His most important mission seems to have come to him later in life.
