We had to QC the dvd of the second season of this pile of crap at work today. Apparently it's coming out sometime in the next 2 months.

Ugh, avoid at all costs. I don't think there was a single 'comedic' moment in the entire show. That white girl (who used to be on SNL) -really- shows she has no talent, because she can't even improvise on the already non-existent scripts.

The humor (or whatever it is they are trying to achieve) is the equivalent of a 14 year old grabbing their granma's VHS camera, going to the mall, returning with some footage, and then calling themselves a director to their family and friends (who immediately proceed to tell him how much talent he has and that he's going to become famous blah blah, thus causing him to shoot MORE mall footage)

I think their style is more like retarded redneck humor, but upon further viewing, it's not that. It just seems like lack of talent all around. I have NO idea how anything this bad would make it on air, then again, plenty of idiots out there who declare crap like the best show in the history of the universe.

Thats nice and all....but speaking as a comedy nerd you're *beep* wrong.

What kind of comedy do you like? I'm guessing you also hate great stuff like Mr. Show, Kids in the Hall, Strangers with Candy, The State/Stella, Adult Swim, etc too, right?

I'd politely ignore this person. They hated MP & the Holy Grail, but seemed to enjoy Starship Troopers.

I like Family Guy, Futurama, Drawn Together, Mad TV, Married with Children, Zucker Brothers stuff (Top Secret, Police Squad, Naked Gun), so Adult Swim stuff works for me.

I don't like Monty Python, Arrested Development and redneck comedy like this one.

The fact that this guy likes mad tv and drawn together, and doesn't like Arrested Development or UCB makes anything he has to say invalid, strike these posts from the record.

I think that's all that can be said, and all that needs to be said about you and your comments.

Hhah wow your second post just confirmed how sickeningly bad your taste is. Drawn Together is absolute trash, and although Mad TV started off good and still occasionally has a good sketch every now and then, it is overwhelmingly pure garbage. You really have no place criticizing other comedies(or any genre of movie/show for that matter) if these are 2 of your favorite shows.

Also, calling it redneck comedy doesn't make any sense at all.

Upright Citizens Brigade is brilliant and hilarious, FACT.

Don't try to make sense of it, it's beyond your capacity. Here, let me try to put it in terms you MIGHT be able to understand:

What's funnier, a blank wall or Upright Citizens Brigade? A blank wall, because you can spray paint something else on top of it, whereas there is no hope for UCB.

Overall, UCB is on par with the color bars at the end of a broadcast day.

You probably should slice your wrist and save yourself the embarassment, if your comedic backup is UCB. Seriously, don't mention the 'brilliance' of your show in educated company, or ANY type company, it might cause your world to collapse. The opinion of someone who laughs at color bars speaks for itself. I don't even have to point anything else out.

To be honest he might be more of an Astronazi. Spending all his time drinking Tang and eating upside down blended food.

He must've moved to my town about 2 weeks ago, because the leaves on all the trees are all dying.

How does no one call attention to the fact this guy said color bars at the end of the broadcast day. What the *beep* is it 1968 already?

Paint grows in his fantasy world where he also believes UCB sucks. Anyway, just check is post history, it's essentially him calling everything awful...

I've never been able to comprehend why people try to ruin others' fun. It's just odd how you can spend your time intending to start an internet fight. Oh well, that's just me.

Avoid the topic creator at all costs.

This seems an incoherent attempt at discouraging people whose opinions differ from yours from purchasing a new item they have already been sold on. Kudos for coming to the board to express your opinion, though.
