PLOT:

A few years after the last film, Mike Lowrey(Smith) and Marcus Burnett(Lawrence) have been tracking a notorious shadow drug runner known only as 'Jericho'. However, after breaking up with Syd, Mike hasn't been himself lately. After accidentally shooting an undercover DEA agent, Mike is suspended from the force and slips into an alcoholic depression. Julie(Leoni), from the first one, is now a crime scene photographer and works with Mike's ex, Detective Donna Graham(Patton), a narc from another precinct. Julie is helping Donna bring down a new bigtime Asian crimelord in Miami named Ramon Sung. Also in Miami, is a French drug czar named Christoph Lautrec(Cassel), a vicious criminal mind who is at war with Sung. Captain Howard(Pantoliano), Marcus, and a DEA agent named Raymond Terrell(Ejiofor) are on the case. Captain Howard meets up with Julie and Donna, who try to convince him that both Sung and Lautrec are getting their deals successfully made by what could be a corrupt cop, and that he is purposely playing both sides for the highest bidder. Marcus believes them, and so does Howard, but keeps his beliefs bottled up. Agent Terrell demands Howard and Marcus stay off of the case, but Howard eventually does some personal investigating on his own. While snooping around a hidden drug lab, Howard gets in a lone gunfight with a figure he can't quite see. In the end, poor Captain Howard gets shot and killed.
Marcus then decides to take over the case, believing it to be the work of either Sung or Lautrec. Terrell tells Marcus to let it go, because he claims the case still belongs to him. Terrell doesn't know Marcus very well, nor does he like him. When a couple other cops wind up dead, Donna, Marcus, and Julie all work together to find out who's doing it. Marcus gets his intel from a reformed drug hoodlum named Demetrius, who informs him that Sung and Lautrec do in fact concoct business with the mysterious middleman, Jericho. Seems this figure wants nothing more than Sung and Lautrec's money and to see their empires tear one another apart while he walks away with their loot. Things take a turn for the worse when it's revealed that Lautrec just happens to be the younger brother of Fouchet from the 1st one and is given an old file on Julie, dating back to when Marcus and Mike swapped identities, therefore, believing Marcus to be Mike and goes gunning for him for revenge of his dead brother. Sung begins to suspect betrayal and deception behind every corner, so he starts to spruce up the game with a little gunfire and martial arts against Lautrec's men as well as the narcotics unit. Marcus puts his family in protective custody, and goes to Mike for help. When he informs Mike that Captain Howard was murdred and that Donna has become part of this and could be in jeopardy, Mike cleans up his act and swings into action with his old partner to show these bad guys that it doesn't pay to mess with bad boys. So now, Mike, Marcus, Julie, and Donna have to take on two rival drug gangs in order to keep Marcus from being executed, but they all four know the game is being controlled by their mystery player/dirty narc officer.

Hey, throw a rock, you'll hit a guy with a better plot than mine. I was just trying to come up with a story with some decent twists and turns and a crapload more or equal action than Bad Boys 2.

No, not you, I was dissing myself, saying you're response was okay, i wasn't expecting you to give me a shower of compliments for my ideas. That's what I meant when i said throw a rock you're sure to hit someone who could write better than me. To a professional Hollywood writer, my ideas are weak sauce. I'm just a simple amateur when it comes to this stuff. Trust me, i know what constructive criticism is, and i gladly accepted yours. The only one i was dissing here was me.

Seems like a good idea but the plot is a little too serious for a movie that needs to have some comedy in it. Mike killing somebody and becoming an alcoholic??? Captain Howard dying??? That is unnecessary. Tea Leoni would be a welcomed return as long as she is not romantically linked to Will Smith. That should have been handled in the first movie.

In terms of Mike becoming an alcoholic, I agree that's a little extreme. But, I was thinking that IF this were to be the last Bad Boys movie, and I would venture to say it is, then we'd have to go out with a bang, even if it would involve a not-so-central character from the previous 2 getting killed. That would be the basis of the whole movie. As in the 1st one it was Mike and Marcus avenging the death of Mike's beloved and protecting her best friend. In the 2nd, it was Mike and Marcus trying to protect Marcus' sister and Mike's secret lover. In this one, it would be Mike and Marcus trying to protect yet again another one of Mike's previous lovers and avenging Captain Howard's death with the help of Julie(Who would NOT be romantically linked to Mike in this one).

Chiwetel Ejiofor's character obviously is the revealed main villain in the last act. I was thinking it to be centered around him being the main cause for Captain Howard's death and that one of his fellow dirty DEA agents was the specific target that suspended Mike's career. Mike wouldn't HAVE to neccessarily become an alcoholic, but I was thinking that he would do SOME binge drinking while on suspension to drown his guilt. I don't know, maybe I am being a little extreme with my ideas, I just like this franchise and want to lend my opinion every once in a while. I am, however, appreciative of your constructive criticism.

Your plot and casting are EXCELLENT, don't get me wrong. But instead of Captain Howard being killed, how about having his character get caught and kidnapped by forces secretly working for Sykes when Howard is doing some of his private investigating? I like Captain Howard a lot so I don't think he should die, but yet he should be in the realm of danger in this movie unlike in the two previous movies. Also, instead of Mike accidentally killing someone, have him get set up by a dirty DEA agent for murder (as you mentioned) and have Howard suspend Mike for what he believes to be Mike's recklessness on the job. Mike, at that point in the movie (a flashback?), should protest (despite being unsure himself of his own innocence) but ultimately submit to the Captain's order. Instead of Mike going on some binge drinking, they should just have him in bed with two random chicks and a half empty bottle of wine in the background to show how he is dealing with being pulled away from the job he loves (the movie should play more on Mike's playboy ways). When Howard is kidnapped, Sykes should deceive Marcus into thinking that one of the drug lords arranged for Captain Howard's kidnapping and advise Marcus to stay away from the case in order to secure Howard's safety for the time being. Meanwhile, Marcus has his own suspicions of the circumstances behind Howard's kidnapping as well as Mike's suspension. That's when the rest of your plot should kick in but I think that Mike should be doing some work on the case while on suspension (either by himself or with Marcus) as soon as he finds out that Howard is in trouble.

3 Things:

1. I'm not a twelve year old with anger issues, I'm just retaliating to a comment someone made to me that I didn't really care for. FYI: Watch From Dusk Till Dawn, you'll hear George Clooney say the EXACT response that I made to you. So, I didn't get as mad as you believe I did.

2. I didn't know intelligent people still used the term "sooooo yesterday".

3. I don't give a s#$^t if you're a complete (faceless) stranger, you're still an @#^hole, and I wanna let you know that.

So there you have it, @#^hole!

Believe it or not, I say this with all due respect,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,@#^hole.
