How many others were there?

Becker was one of three different sitcoms that Ted Danson did that were featured on the three (historic) major networks: NBC, CBS, and ABC.

For NBC he starred in Cheers. On CBS he starred in Becker. And for ABC he starred in a short-lived series of only 14 episodes, Help Me Help You.

Of course there have been other series he has done such as the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as his great role as Arthur Frobrisher on seasons 1-3 of Damages.

My question to all is how many other actors or actresses that you know of have starred for shows on at least three different networks? I'm sure the list is plentiful but Ted Danson is the only one that I can think of offhand.

Interested in your input and thoughts.

Rob Lowe has The Grinder on Fox, he did Dr. Vegas on CBS and had multiple shows on NBC.

Kelsey Grammer had Cheers and Frasier on NBC, Hank on ABC, Back to You on Fox, as well as cable shows for Starz and FX.

Tea Leoni had 2 networks with The Naked Truth (ABC and NBC) and now has Madame Secretary on CBS.

I'm sure if you look at short-lived shows there's probably others who made the rounds more than them, especially now with dozens of networks making sitcoms and dramas.

Yes, Rob Lowe was also on The West Wing, was he not? I know that he also produced another short-lived show that he also starred in called The Lion's Den.

The Naked Truth, I remember that one. Loved Tea on that show. Season 2 kind of went bad after awhile but I saw all of Season 1 which was pretty good.

I love Kelsey Grammer and Frasier is probably my favorite all-around comedy show. Back To You was a decent show; wish it had hung around longer.

Speaking of Back To You Patricia Heaton also comes to mind. She did Raymond on CBS, currently The Middle on ABC, and Back To You was on FOX.

Leah Remini did The King of Queens on CBS and a short-lived series on NBC called Fired Up. She also appeared on the last two seasons of The Exes on TV Land, although that was in more of a recurring role than as a regular.

This list can certainly go on and on. I like the way we're cropping up a lot of these canceled shows that had short runs. It's fun recalling them.

Keep 'em coming.

I had forgotten about Leah Remini. She was also in a spinoff of Who's the Boss, which means it was likely on ABC as well. So she had NBC, ABC and CBS.

Actually Leah Remini had a short-lived series (only 10 episodes) on ABC a few years back called The Family Tools with J.K. Simmons and Kyle Bornheimer. I remember the first episode and it was terrible.
