the films ok.........

This aint a hollywood budget supermovie i know but as b movie action flicks go this is one of the best... Danny Trejo just totally rocks in this film, he is such a legend and should be given more lead roles in movies.......... Anyone agree?

Actually, I dind't like the movie at all. A lot of the scenes and even the score was stolen out of other movies (Leon, Die Hard...)! And I'm sure, that there are tons of low(er) budget movies out there a lot better than this one, e.g. Perdita Durango or The way of the gun (don't know how expensive they were, but I don't think more than Point Blank).

Danny Trejo is a legend, but I doubt, that he really has got the acting skills to play leading roles in movies, I like him as a supporting act, specially when doesn't have a lot of text...

SirGii ive got news for you when have you not seen a Movie thats A rip off of another movie of some sort or another ? bc almost every movie made is a Rip off of another movie so get over yourself you didnt like the movie so big deal who cares . but to say that this movie wasnt good to be a "B" Type Genre is stupid bc it was a Great movie i thought and enjoyed every minute of it . and would love to watch this movie again if i could find it . which is a Rare find these days. and i think for a B genre type movie to go straight to dvd was actually Pretty good . you would have to have done Time IN prison to understand where the Guys are coming from in the movie and to clearly understand them if you didnt like the movie or didnt think it had a clear plot to it . but for tohse of you who havent seen it watch it for yourselves and make your own Conclusion about the movie . dont listen to Critics . bc sometimes they can turn out to be wrong .

theirs an old saying
"Opinions are like A**holes everyone has one"

he is right about it ripping off leon, or the proffessional as its called in other parts of the world. the scene where the howard guy kills the joe ray guy, its a shot for shot rip off of the professional ending.

You can see it again on Hulu.

As for it being a rip off, I don't think it was intentional. I know that the director didn't go in there and say, "hmm, I saw this movie and they did it this way, so we are going to do it the same way".

Here is some trivia for you, the film started out with the intentions of being everyone doing a good job, some crap hit the fan, and everyone lost their vision. This is what happens when the money side can't do their jobs right, the creative side loses and that is what happened with this movie.
