 Indeed !

A very different type of film from the 1960 version with Vincent Price but just as good .
However the Vincent Price version is still my first fave   .
This one is a close second and still enjoyed it as much  .

While watching it, we truly thought it was from the 30s, the quality of the film craft was so primitive. I want to find the Vincent Price version.

Terrifying in all the wrong ways - acting, story (are they trying to fit Pit & the Pendulum in there?),pacing... Finally gave up at the "Help! My leg!" scene & guffawed through the rest.

UK TV viewers should look for it on the Talking Pictures channel. They recently showed it at the witching of 2-50 AM so it helps if you're a night owl.
