It still amazes..
me how much I love this movie, and IMO, it's timeless. I've seen it countless times and each time I realize there's another face I couldn't put my finger on the last time I watched.
I didn't have 'the internet', or a laptop until 2010 which would've been easier to look up the names to go with the faces with the characters. I guess now after rewatching several films I can enjoy them much more with access into the characters, and big names, I didn't have access to before which makes them, and Almost Famous, feel entirely fresh.
Just an observation. Now I'll read all the older threads under Almost Famous for further insight.
For any others who might be 'old school', have you rewatched, then researched, any films which you saw BeforeTheInternet?
