Polexia's attitude (or Paquin's Delivery)

I have always wondered about the scene where Penny and Russell reunite... Polexia says: "Act One, in which she pretends she doesn’t care about him. Act Two, in which he pretends he doesn’t care her, but he goes right for her. Act Three, in which it all plays out the way she planned it. She’ll eat him alive", then we have Fugit's bad acting and everything, but I don't know, is it only me or Polexia is really mean with him? She obviously knows he's into Penny and she's telling him all of this and ends with the "You were her excuse..." Does anyone know why Cameron wanted that scene to unfold that way?

I kind of figured she was just telling it like it was. She had properly seen the same thing happen a million times and just told him that was how it was going to happen.

Sort of got the feeling that Polexia had some feelings towards William and maybe this was her way of trying to get him to stop thinking of Penny and think about her. Seemed like she would flirt with William every now and then and who knows if William did end up having sex with her the night that the girls jumped him (pretty sure it was even Polexia as the one saying "let's de-flower him"). I know during the extended director's cut, there is a scene at the end where Polexia does kiss William but I forget if it's more of a kiss goodbye or a kiss of "I just need to do this before I leave" sort of thing.

I think she was just trying to do him a favor by disabusing him of his romantic illusions.

Probably this.
