Pretetious Slog of a movie
Good performances, but my god this was some pretentious shit. No direction and trying way too fard to be quirky and funny. Shame because this great cast went to waste.
shareThe story is pretty straightforward. The subject matter is about the struggles of writing and finding your voice. The main character had that once but lost it and it's in this story where he finds his way back to it while helping some new blood along the way. Robert Downey Jr was brilliant as Crabtree as well. It's too bad you couldn't appreciate it.
