Terrible old age makeup.

Really it was awful! Finally just watched this and apart from the cheesy montage at the end the makeup for the older versions of the dad and the villain looked really bad.

Remember this was in 2000, a lot has changed in make up aging in 16 years

I don't think makeup has advanced that much since the focus has always been on cgi. Back to the Future makeup was pretty good and that was 31 years ago.

Yeah Elizabeth Mitchell's makeup job especially at the end at the baseball game was amateurish as hell.

i thought Dennis Quaid actually looked pretty good. He was supposed to have changed his habits for the better. So he was a healthy looking older man.
