Why does this have a 4,4 rating, way too generous. Firtst of all, there was absolutely no chemistry between Julia 'worst actress ever' Stiles and Freddy 'I only got one expression' Prinze jr.

This movie has no story, they fight, make up, kiss, fight, make up, shag, fight.....all over nothing!!! Whas it all improvised? Cause nothing made sense...And the talkin to the camera bits...HORRIBLE....and what did she say about artificial conversations people have on the street??Every conversation in this movie was artificial...

I liked the movie, but hated the acting. Julia stiles was horrible!!!

Just saw this movie. I have to tell you IT'S SO BAD. No chemistry, stupid acting, badly written, hokey ending. Metatcritic gave it a 13 rating out of 100, so I know it's not only my judgment.

4 stars is way too nice, this was quite possibly the worst romance moive I have ever seen. I wish I had those two hours of my life back. Freddy Price Jr. is a joke of an actor and I couldn't agree more with the "one expression" comment.

Freddy always has the "deer in the headlights" look in his eyes, which apparently we are supposed to think is intensity or sincerity or something. He needs some acting classes real bad before his career is over.

This is the kind of movie that is so awful, you watch it and realize there is a reason people want to bomb us. Some terrorist must have sat in a cave in 2000 somewhere and saw this and thought...This movie sucks, They are in New York huh?

This movie just seemed to be a rehasf of all the teen angst movies that John Hughes and Chris Columbus made in teh 80's and 90's. Itjust wasn't terribly original. OK, Freddie Prinze Jr. is great eye candy but this was definitely the worst performance I have ever seen from Julia Stiles.

I really wanted to like this..I love Julia Stiles even though her acting capabilites are limited..she is still fun to watch (like in 10 things I hate about you). But the relationship seemed really force..hard to watch...no chemistry what so ever.

This movie was awful and I was just furious about the commercials ten years ago in the movie theaters because they give the whole movie away. Those dumb Commercial makers.

I'm really surprised this movie isn't in the Bottom 250 on IMDb. Every time I'm reminded it exists, I get angry that I've even watched it Incensed enough obviously to wind up talking about it on a message board. But I will say that Julia's acting has greatly improved..at least on Dexter.
