Why is Junie such a bitch?

When Memphis shows up at Otto's shop to ask him for help, Otto and his girlfriend, Junie, are painting pin strips on a newly restored car. Junie seems to be quite aroused by Otto's skill with a small brush (if ya' know what I mean)!

When Memphis interrupts them, Junie acts like Memphis farted in church or something. Since the shop is full of guys working on cars, I doubt Otto and Junie were about to get busy, so I don't get why the director had Junie's character be so disgusted.

The only thing I can figure is that Junie is concerned that Memphis will convince Otto to return to his old ways, and she'll once again play second fiddle to a chop shop king instead of receiving her regular "tune ups" from Otto the Humble Mechanic.

Anyone else catch some subtlety I've been missing all these years?

There's your answer right there as to why she was acting the way she was (concerned, not bitchy, because she knew who Memphis was). So, I don't know why you're confused. Also, I think you need to lay off the pornos. This is "Gone in Sixty Seconds", not "Done in Sixty Seconds".
