Did this influence the plot of GTA5 in any way?

I'm watching this flick right now, and can't help thinking that the writers of GTA5 may have lifted some of the elements (although I'm sure they're pretty common for crime movies).

Older overweight rich guy sitting around by his pool, asked by his old buddy to come out of retirement so they can pull off a big score? Can't help thinking, judging by the beginning especially with all the pool stuff, that the creators of GTA5 saw some of this and used it for the game.

Had the same thought yesterday that I watched this movie. I think it's extremely likely. Rockstar has habit of taking "inspiration" from acclaimed crime movies. Don Logan is the old buddy that is just *beep* insane and everybody is afraid of him. Trevor is like that too.

If you watch Ringo Lam's Full Alert (1997), you will see that Sexy Beast is derivative.
