Am I the only one who actually though this film was good?

I thing this film is much better than the boring, not creepy Dominion! I found this one nearly as frightening as the original Exorcist... Okay, not as scary, but closer than the Heretic, or Dominion! Especially when Sarah was possessed, and she was going upside down to stop Joseph from leaving the Church. I'm reading that people on here are saying this movie isn't frightening and boring, and the director was a lousy one etc. The only thing that they made a mistake with is when the dig, and that Pauzuzu was in Africa, but in the original Exorcist, it was found in Iraq. That's what they made a mistake with! Other than that, I though this movie was pretty darn good!

its excellent. people are told its bad so they also think its bad

I like the movie, but the hyena effect prevent me to add the movie to my collection!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who prefers this version to Dominion, I personally found Dominion to be rather dull and I struggled to get through it.

This film has its faults but at the very least it kept my interest.

Yes, you're the only one. This movie sucked ass

No, I actually quite liked it, though I do have a few nitpicks.

I actually like both this film and Dominion, I always watch them when they're on. I also liked The Exorcist 3 as well, it's the second film that I found atrocious!

I hope so. This was one of the worst films I’ve ever seen.

This is made even more tragic because it's ostensibly a prequel to the greatest horror film of all time.

And yet worse still because it’s made by Renny Harlin, who has directed some fantastic films. It looks like this was the film that got him kicked from Hollywood.

I’m intrigued to hear that this is a bastardised version what sounds like a much better original film.
