How Did The Moon Blow Up?

If they said how, I totally forgot.

The gate accident that decimated the Earth also wrecked the moon.

I don't think the gate accident itself decimated the Earth did it? Wasn't it the debris from the moon that rained down on Earth that messed up the Earth?

Movie_nazi already posted: Episode 6, Sympathy for the Devil it is explained.

That one tells the tale.

The gate blew up and took out a chunk of the moon and not only rained down moon debris, but also irradiated the Earth. It was nasty.

We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one.

Does it actually say it irradiated the Earth? I thought it just talks about moon debris impacting Earth.

reply

I haven't seen it in a while, but I do believe it irradiated the Earth as well. If not the whole planet, then a large swath of it.

We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one.

The Earth wasn't destroyed, but it was turned into a wasteland that continues to be bombarded by debris. You see Earth's state in Jamming With Edward. I'm rewatching the series now so that's still pretty fresh in my mind. The moon's in pieces, though.

Yeah, seeing the moon with that huge chunk taken out of it is super creepy, plus the warnings on debris fall. Brrrr.

It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in moment. Like breath on a mirror.
