About the ending song
What can I say? I think it was better than the Ringu one, but still fell kinda out of place... whaddaya think?

Well erm um yéa
Ring's theme song was better if you ask me cause it sounded so, gothic or cool or the lyrics were cool and simple... I don't know. It was a re-mix of "Feels like Heaven" by HIIH. At the end of Ring 2 however, the song was catchy and jumpy and also seriously out of place. The song was called "Smile Icily for Me", sort of suggesting it a song for Sadako:

Does anybody know what song was used when the main character is taking her son on the boat to the island? I thought that was a good piece of music.
Firstly, her name was Mai Takano and it wasn't her son it was her ward, Yoichi. And secondly, YES, it is avalable but only over the web here:
