Battle Royale does something similar (looking at my profile I live there, you will see). As Kawada is about to pretend to shoot Nanahara and Noriko (thus ending the game with all 3 alive), he says "Game Over: for real!". The words game over are said in English. Not sure why though. Is this a common thing with Jap films, or is it just these 3?
