not very good

**SPOILERS**

This movie just didnt creep me out.... the only scary part was masami's flashback where she saw sadako's head come around the corner. and the part where mai and yoichi were in the well, sadakos face made me laugh so hard!! it was so obviously fake. Did anyone find Ringu 2 creepy, and if so, why?

yes. as i've said before it's a film of 'moments'. it doesn't have so much in the way of atmosphere and the plot's a little thin but it has several creepy moments. i didn't think all that much of the main story line but some of the subplots and minor developments were excellent, moving the story on well and, i think, giving some genuine chills.
i'm thinking about the 'tape erasing scene', the 'shizuko in front of the mirror' moment, the 'girl laughing' at the end etc etc.
it's all subjective. just my opinions...

Her 'face' during that scene in the well was from the reconstructed clay figure of her skull created by the police artists to give them an idea of what her face looked like. That same clay head was placed with the rest of her remains when her father tossed the coffin into the sea.

Sadako's body was removed from the well at the end of Ring1, and since her body was back in the well during that scene of Ring2, I guess it was meant to show that she had returned to the well after she had been dumped into the sea, with the clay head included.

But I agree, it did look pretty dumb. :\
