when milo is trying to escape at the climax of the movie and he gets knocked out the guy that knocked him out said "what is with the mission impossible 3 mentality?". How the hell can that be in the movie when mission impossible 3 was made 6 years after this movie? did i hear it wrong or something?
sharelol dude it's a joke. First of all he says "what is with the mission impossible 3 bullsh!t". Secondly he's referring to the next film in the franchise for the sake of being funny. Don't think too much about it, cause I dun know what you're getting at by pointing this out.

shareDid you see M:I 2? If you had, I think it would make more sense. Near the end of the film Cruise does a similar move on somebody but swings into the guy from a horizontal pole kicking him in the face. In this movie Ryan uses the railings on the stairs to achieve relatively the same effect. Also it was a reference as M:I 2 had already come out, they were making reference to the sequel that at the time was known about.
