the part im referring to is the one where Puff has the shock collar on and hes going absolutely nuts over that poster of the hot chick????

after he earlier learnt after 3 shocks which was the right fork. I saw this movie over a month ago and just thinking about that part still makes me laugh my donkey off

I think this movie is great!
I bought the DVD and I saw this movie many times!

reply

Absolutely hilarious is correct... that part was hysterical... I laughed my @ss off!!!

Funniest part for me was after Puff spoke before Congress, the congressman says something like, "This is a very important matter. We will pass legislation to change this." Hilarious!

reply

this movie is a masterpiece...

Actually, my favorite part's when Lila asked Puff to testify in Congress about Human Nature. I lol'ed till the following scene...

La gente enseña para disimular su ignorancia lo mismo que sonríe para ocultar las lágrimas

I absolutely agree. I enjoyed all the film, but the histerical laugh was with that scene, incredible. And of course, the final, when Puff gets into the fake french girl's car, hiding, and saying he was frozen.
No idea why this film is so underrated, it has the same level as other Kauffman's, Beeing JM, Eternal Sunshine and Adaptation. The only one I didn't enjoy too much was Confessions of a dangerous mind.

I'm atheist, thanks God (Bunuel)

I LMAO when lila finds puff on the branch of a tree. Puff gives the funniest expression looking at naked lila and starts jerking off... Damn, I laughed like crazy during that scene.

"Colorless green ideas sleep furiously."

reply

I agree. Confessions is probably too 'normal'.

Anyway, there's not much more nudity here than in a random European film. I know it's a cliche, but Americans are really sensitive when it comes to that...

I lol'd at the line Dr. Bronfman says afterwards. Something along the lines of

"Well done Puff. Tomorrow is the acid test"

I had been smiling the whole movie up until that point, but not actually laughing. That line was the ice breaker so to speak.
