I thought the dad was a real dick with the younger Rusty. Russ had every right to be *beep* to his dad as they got older.
shareThe Dad was a jerk which is why Russ felt so much animosity towards him. But the recognition of seeing himself in his Dad was probably the final thing that caused Russ to make the positive changes in his own behavior.
