Edge of Extinction
Is the Edge of Extinction just a way for production to avoid paying for the room and board for all the jury members?

They usually don't get great room and board if they're jury members do they? They get that whole ponderosa camp thing, don't they? I think it's just something to fill in time to add something else more interesting into the show... a separate extinction challenge. Rather see that than more of everyone going nuts over everyone's paranoia.
shareWell, compared to Edge of Extinction the Ponderosa is great room and board. LOL
With the Ponderosa the eliminated players got a room and a cook to prepare them food. They also got clean clothes, hot showers, and probably other amenities that were never aired.
Now it seems like they don't get any of that.
When the show first aired eliminated players were permitted to go home. They stopped that in second season when one of the players went to their local news and told his story before the episodes aired. That's when they created the Ponderosa where everyone had to stay until they were done filming.
What I want to know about this Edge of Extinction: IS EVERYONE WHO PLAYED GOING TO BE ON THE JURY NOW?
Except Sandra of course.
Yes, I think Jeff dropped a line that said everybody was going to be on the jury. When he was describing how the second round of EoE would play out. The winner of the final EoE challenge gets back in the game, everybody else becomes the jury.
