reply

Yeah... Colin dies at the end. Bruce Willis kills him as part of the cover up.

reply

that's evil. colin doesn't die the general guy does and then the rest of the POWS are freed in couple of months. it's kinda crap the only good thing about the movie is COLIN FARRELL.

Colin Farrell is not the only good thing.
Marcel Iures's performance was as good as Colin's.

He portraits very well an educated yet very sneaky german officer.

reply

Are you being sarcastic in a funny way? Colin Farrell's character did not die. Bruce Willis did.

The only guys that died in the movie are:

Capt. Peter A. Ross (Linus Roache) (Capt. that Hart transport in the jeep)

Pvt. Daniel E. Abrams (Adrien Grenier)

Lt. Lamar T. Archer (Vicellous Reon Shannon)

Staff Sgt. Vic W. Bedford (Cole Sprause)

Col. William A. McNamara (Bruce Willis)

(*Sure a bunch of extras died but those are the main characters, that I can recall*)

thank u for clearing that up for some of the liars out there

You forgot one more man.

I forgot his name, but he was the one who handed Tommy a blanket of some sort as they were on a train being transported to Stalag Luft Thirteen. Tommy appeared very grateful for the blanket, and a bond was formed between the two men. Then the train got bombed, and this man died.

Tommy took this man's death pretty hard.

Then someone told Tommy to take this man's shoes because he was going to need it in the mile march.

Do you know who I am talking about?

reply

I think so. The only guy that pops in my head in Grenier. The one that climbs out of the hole in the train. But he got shot by the plane, so I think I recall who you mean. I will go back and check it.

It went back and watched that part and that was in fact Grenier. He is the one that gave him his coat, he is the one that climbed out the window, he is the one that opened the train door.

He got shot while opening the latch, he didnt die from that however. Farrell was leaning over his wounded body then the planes blew the train up and the explosion threw them around. He died from the gunshots and the blast.

"Staff Sgt. Vic W. Bedford (Cole Sprause)"

First of all. the actor's name is Cole Hauser. Second of all, the guy you're confusing him with is Cole Sprouse. Lastly, Cole Sprouse was 9 years old, when this movie was filmed.

reply

It is a common mistake dude, how many Cole's do you know? Neither one is a well know actor, so it was a common error. My apologies.
