Seriously, this movie was messed up! I did get a laugh out of the first scene where the 2 guys try to rob the gas station but after that it became a sick torture fest.

If you think that's over the top gore then you should see more horror/gory movies, I thought it was pretty tame and almost comical.

shareWell, it's Rob Zombie. Anyone who knows a lot about his films know that gratuitous violence, gore, nudity, and vulgar language are sort of his trademark. All of his films (except maybe The Lords of Salem) have plenty of all the things listed above, so if this kind of stuff offends people then Rob Zombie is not the director for them.

- captain Spaulding hit the panic button when the robbers showed up and raveli sees the alarm go off in his room and puts on the mask (this was taken out due to color problems)
- a longer and gorier version of bill's death scene
- raveli hitting the first robber in the head with a sledge hammer
- Mary getting stabbed ten times
- Mary getting tied to a cross doused in gasoline and set on fire along with the cross
- the fireflies celebrate and smash up a police car after Mary gets burned
- jerry getting eaten alive by three zombies
- Denise runs from the ghouls in the underground and gets huge chunks of flesh torn from her legs in the process
- people in biohazard suits dig up a corpse while it's raining
- a ghoul tries to pull Denise back down but she kicks the *beep* out of it
- huge chunks of bloody meat found in the shed that Mary is tied up in and pentagrams are carved on several corpses
- Rufus driving drunk for a longer time and finds baby dancing in a field like a maniac (this felt out of place)
- Otis reading a bible while taunting Mary (a subtle extension to that scene)
- baby saying Mary and Denise are lesbians
- during the murder ride, dr satan's real name is never revealed
- tiny banging on an oil drum and Rufus singing
- an alternate angle of the scarecrow ambush
- grandpa hugo was originally dr satan
- captain Spaulding picking up Denise in a truck and raveli yanks her into the back of truck and they go straight back to the firefly house (this was the original ending)
I also mentioned these deleted scenes in another thread, it sucks that we won't ever see the NC-17 cut, but the fact that we'll be getting the NC-17 version of 31 on blu-ray totally makes up for it
shareI saw that thread you posted about the content that got taken out... Speaking of 31's blu-ray/DVD release, there have not been any details regarding the NC-17 cut. The director's cut better come out since Rob did indeed promise that cut would be on DVD.
