Bad police work

I'm not really good watching a movie to find leaks, but this movie [I watched yesterday], have a huge amount of them.

When the cops visit his mother's house and took his picture, where did they use it? Why did they not put that picture in every bank, station, street. His world would become tiny.

Anyway, I liked the movie.

I feel like that idea sounds simpler than it actually would be. Theyd have to ensure that EVERY bank in the country had a "wanted poster", how is that even feasible? And why would nice banks want to put that up in their business?

Wasn't he a minor when the FBI asked for that pic? Juvenile records are sealed and the pic would be used in-house only by the FBI and not put on wanted posters like you see at the post office. I think only official mug shots taken when in custody would be used in a wanted poster if Abagnale had been an adult. I don't think he'd been arrested yet, but it's been a while since I saw the flick.

In the 1960s, did they have the infrastructure to put his picture all over the place? This is before the internet. There may have been rules concerning minors too, as stated
