This movie just had such a pessimistic view on life, and this is amplified with the color scheme used in the movie, the whole blah grey/blue tones, and the perpetual overcast sky. I would never let a depressed person view this movie lest they kill themselves.

I saw this movie in a depressed state and it actually made me feel somewhat better because it made me realize I didn't have things as bad compared to others.

Good point. The movie has a good ending and not a depressing one at all.
