I loled.

It was not all that well depicted and even though HC did a good job playing this teen kid he lacked a few hormonal tactics a real 17 yr old teen boy would be doing with a naked girl in a shower. Even a shy emo kid still has hormones and will want to jump her bones. It to me was a cold shower scene.

Not every 17 yr old reacts the same way with a "naked girl in the shower". Sam has plenty of reasons to be nervous, shy, and hesitant about the experience.

Who said he didn't want to jump her bones? He's never been with a girl before and he has no self-esteem. That would make most people hesitant in a sexual situation.
He wanted to screw her, otherwise he wouldn't have had an erection, lmao. He just didn't know how to go about it.

And who says a 'real 17 year old boy' has to be experienced sexaully? So all those guys who are late bloomers (and they exist) and don't start becoming sexually active until around 16-17, those guys aren't 'real'?

Yea he was shy at first i think. I just wish in the movie they would of at least showed her bare butt or some side boobs. they pretty much just showed her from neck up but when he open the shower door for her you could see his butt threw the glass doors. oh well.

It's because Jena was 16 when this was filmed, and because in America the legal age is 18, it would've probably be called child porn or some shiz.

Actually, the actress could have been naked in the film if she & her parents allowed it.
In the US, you can show some nudity under age 18...IF the parents sign a consent form and/or are on the set during the nude scenes.

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
