Hi all.

Towards the end of this movie, when everyone is helping to build the house and the cop comes over, George asks him if he can track someone down for him. I know a lot of people were unhappy with the ending because it kinda came out of nowhere, so was it the girl at the end who George wanted to track down? I thought maybe he was going to find his father (I didn't catch whether he was still alive or not), if it was the girl, why would he want to find her? Maybe it was what he wanted after all for the girl to have the house...?

It was the girl that Sam gave the house to. That was the girl who's parents were killed when George's father wrecked into them while driving while he was drunk. The girl was the daughter and was injured but lived.
