Who thinks Kline deserved a Best Actor nod?

I agree. I think Kevin should've gotten an oscar. His performance was amazing, just the right balance of humor and drama. Thing is the academy and critics don't like these mushy family movies. They think they're cliche and too sappy. Idiots.

I dont think it made enough money. I think it costs like millions to get a movie up for oscars and this didn't make its budget back. I know for a best picture contender usually a movie has to make somewhere close to 100,000,000... or so ive heard. idk i hope thats not the case cause it would really make me lose all respect for the oscars.
