Urick hand sign to Somali children?

At just over an hour Ben Urick takes shelter in a Somali classroom and just before he leaves he makes a hand sign to the kids with his ring finger down and his other fingers up. Does anyone know the significance of this or am i just reading too much into it? I thought Galentine was the only one in Chalk 4 that lost a finger.

I think Yurek is just waving goodbye to them. I don't recall anything ever happening to his finger so I just assume he's just holding it down while he's waving.

I thought Galentine was the only one in Chalk 4 that lost a finger.

It was nearly severed off but his thumb was saved and sewed back on by surgeons however he doesn't have 100% movement off it but it is still functional.
