It would have been so epic if he told him “it will be extremely painful .... for you” or even this: “when it is done and the Bakara market is ashes then you have my permission to die”

I rember Twombly just holding the guys shoulders to keep him from moving. It was Eversman that was putting the clamp on when the medic pulled the artery out far enough to get to.
