Good actor, Bad movie.

This film was on the other day, I tuned in to watch it because I remember seeing it in the cinema with my mom when I was 6 or something.

I remember the funny bit where the man offers the black guy some peas, in his bare hands. So gross ! And he has to accept.

But the memory cheats, it wasn't as funny when I saw it the other day.

It's just a badly made film the story is totally implausible and my expectations where let down. But having seen Martin Lawrence in "Big Momma's House" the night before, I had high expectations.

You feel sorry for him, such bad dialogue and story, and he has to work with it and make it seem good, it was totally wrong. He must LOATHE having been in this film. It's not fair that people blame him for the short comings of this aweful movie, any actor would be aweful to watch/listen to with the part he had ! XD

You are WRONG, this is one of Martin Lawrences best movies and one of the greatest comedies of all time.

"Post brigades at every sewer, entrance and exit! I want them found, NOW!!!"

Totally agree, I hate when actors get bashed for being in bad movies as if they were in complete control of the entire movie.

A boat that floats on water can also sink in it.

reply

Totally .

The real actors who deserve slamming are those who are rated highly but truly suck.

Like George "KNOW IT ALL" Clooney, and Jack "KNOW IT ALL" Nicholson.

Nice people in person, but their acting drives me insane...er.
