3rd act
Did the 3rd act purposefully turn into a formulaic thriller like Donald's screenplay?
shareYes, in addition to following the screen-writing lecturer's rules: character must develop, ending must be happy despite everything, etc.
Probably the most ironic, non sequitur ending possible, everything considered. I guess that the Brian Cox character was right; things do happen in real life.

Yes and I'd glad that it did capture the interest in the final act as the old lecturer says, it can't just be about nothing.
