i love this movie and the way martin and steve interact. m. lawrence is funny and hilarious in this film, and s. zahn is so funny, especially on the paty where he says "because im a black man...."
theres so much quotes and funny parts in this movie, including expressions and gestures that crack me up. like that one part where bill duke is yelling at zahn to "shutup, shut the hell up..." and that part where lawrence puts on the tinted shades and looks at zahn, the way Lawrence looks at zahn just cracks me up.
ONE OF THE FUNNIEST MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN. I GIVE IT A 10! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!

i am BLACK, and?......this movie isnt racist. its one of my top 5 favorite films of all time. right up there with american history x, which is racist but a great film

I'm a white guy and I loved this movie aswell, I must have missed all the racist remarks while I was laughing my $#&%ing ass off.

I saw it fo the first time today and I really enjoyed it. The whole race issue is completely overblown- this movie is not pro-black. Martin Lawrence portrays a character who uses racism as EVERY excuse- and it is obvious that he doesn't beleive a word of what he is saying. He is mocking blacks who do this. Again, just to clarify : Martin Lawrence is making fun of blacks. His rants are ridiculous, and over the top- I have witnessed people " playing the race card", but Martin was really exaggerating. I am surprised that more posters dont realize this.
There is no bias here in this movie- the protagonist is a white guy, the comedy relief sidekick is black. The white guy's girl is black. Oh, and they drove a black AND white car. I liked that Martin made fun of "the race card", it's always irked me that some losers still perpetuate that crap.
Also, I am white. I would definitely watch this again, Martin is a funny wild guy. I hope he doesn't self destruct. Steve Zahn is great in everything. Bill Duke is always cool. Loved the potato chip scene

I this movie!!! I'm not racist--i'm a 14yr. old "white" teenager. I don't see why ppl give this movie such a hard freakin time. I mean, its a COMEDY movie, it's supposed to be FUNNY and technically I must have missed the so called "racist" remarks b/c i was having too much fun laughin my head off. If all u can get out of this movie is that it is racist---get a life. Sometimes you gotta let loose and forget about being "goody-two-shoes" who stands up for "equal rights" etc...It's a movie, don't take it so seriously, it's not a documentary, it's a freakin' C-O-M-E-D-Y!!!!!!!!!

I´m just right now watching it.

it´s just boring. The white-people-jokes are *beep* boring, like the whole movie -_- .

No I watch the german version of american idol.

Every time this movie is on television, I always get angry just thinking about what goes on in it. I dont understand how this could be funny at all. Lawrence's character basically ruins Zahns life. Gets him sent to prison for police brutality when he didnt do anything, and while that is going on Lawrence just doesnt care at all. He uses the whole situation to his advantage. For those of you who say this isnt a racist movie, get a clue. For those of us who complain that it is, well, we just have to live with this, because thats how almost every movie with black comedians is today. Just racism. Black comedians can say anything these days about anyone and no one has the balls to tell them they have to stop, because people are afraid they will pull the slavery etc. card on them. BS
