Yup, but a lot of Sandler fans hated it. That is the reason for the low score. They were expecting Happy Gilmore or Big Daddy.

I rate it a 9/10, so while I don’t disagree with you, I can also understand why the score isn’t higher. It’s too quirky and unusual a film to have mass appeal.
