I know I am going to be badmouthed, but I miss Samurai Jack.

I have read the posts about Jack being a ripoff of one thing or another - I don't care.

I have read that Jack can be horrible because it has long scenes with no dialouge to build drama and tension - I don't care

I have even read that jack isn't a samurai - I don't care

The only thing that matters to me is something special and unique has been lost from the programming of cartoon network. To me, this show was a thought provoking and drama enriched series that dealt not only with the story of good vs. evil, but also was a metaphor for the struggles we all face in life. Remember the episode of the viking trapped in stone, or Jack and the Lava Monster, that Jack saved, or maybe the episode where Jack fought and defeated the super powerful androids, or Jack and the Ultra Bots, that Jack shouldn't of stood a chance against. The stories, and many others like it, were tales that touched the heart strings, to believe that humans can accomplish miracles if they only try. I know it is merely a show, but if a man can make animation so poignant, then I can only hope that he keeps going.

Thats why I would like to start this petition.

I doubt the Mr. Genndy Tartakovsky will ever read it, but If anyone, besides myself, want to keep the hope of this show returning, add your voice to mine. Maybe one day it will reach someone that matters, maybe it won't. However, if you add your name to the list, you can hold a torch for the hope it will return, to show that we miss it, and we want it to return.

Count me as one Samurai Jack fan, and I'd love to see the show return. Now that Genndy is done with the Clone Wars features, perhaps he might be interested to returning to Jack. I just picked up the second Samurai Jack DVD, and it is as excellent as the first one -- recommended.

Yeah I want a new season and I want it to go back on the the afternoon schedule. Samurai Jack is really cool and funny how can people not like it. Until then I'll watch my DVDs again and again.

Samurai Jack is so good on so many levels. It was such a pity it had to die like it did. I own the first two seasons on DVD, and I can't wait until the third and last season. I petition that they at least end the series... I want to find out how it ends!!!!! GIVE US AN ENDING!!! GIVE US AN ENDING!!! I'm with you all!

Samurai Jack is a great show. Screw those who have no taste. I don't want Star Wars, I want Jack. Please bring him back in some form Genndy, PLEASE.

In an age of bad televeision, there were only three shows I found watchable, Samurai Jack, Family Guy, and Project Greenlight. Two of those are no longer on....BRING BACK SAMURAI JACK!!

Heh, kind of ironic. Your message about a show reaching out and tugging at the heartstrings really got through to me. I liked Samurai Jack from the beginning, I thought it was okay. But as it went on the show began to reveal more and more of itself, stretching, evolving, and growing as a series. Soon Samurai Jack had become more than just a kids show, even if it was cool and fun enough to be one, it had become something else...something mature, adult, yet without the snotty pretentiousness of some anime. Leaving this show without an ending is truly cartoon network giving the finger to its fans yet again, megas xlr is AWOL, simpsons has been dying a slow death for at least six years...yeesh, the state of American Animation is truly a sad state of affairs, it's no wonder anime can be so damn pretentious. Anyway, I just want you to know, for this petition, you have my support, for what it's worth.
