10 episodes is actually a little more than I was expecting, although the 50-year time-skip threw me for a loop. Jack doesn't look like he's even in his 70s yet. But boy, is he going to be bitter after a half-century of failing to defeat Aku.
What I am glad about, is that is sounds like there'll be more to the storyarc than 'Jack's gotta get home.' Also, I dig his new ride.

Am I the only one who can imagine a commercial for the new season using the Imakandi capture music from the episode "Jack and the Hunters"?
When that breif interlude comes with the emotional ehru playing, you can imagine seeing the cloth of jack's robe blowing in the wind, revealing the premiere date.

The New Number 2: "Are you going to run?"
Number 6: "Like blazes. First chance I get."
This has been long overdue. Not just a return to an old classic, but finally, after the days of prime MTV and HBO, we grown ups get an animated series that is geared towards us which doesn't aspire to be the next Family Guy.
