Worst Guest Actress To Work On The Show

So, JJ Abrams recently said there was a guest actress he hired that he regretted. Supposedly she made a few crew members cry. He also said he warned another producer not to hire her which got back this actress? Any guesses as to who he's talking about? Hopefully this person's career is in the toilet because of her behavior and treatment of others. Would like to know who it is so I can avoid seeing any future work she's in. No time for arrogant or spoiled celebrities who are ungrateful and treat others like dirt.

I saw that article and some names bandied about. I looked at JJ's directing credits on the show to try to narrow it down. He did a two episode uncredited work on "Authorized Personnel Only pts 1&2". I don't think it would have been Angela Bassett, so maybe Vicky Shen? Played "angry punk girl" maybe stayed in character too much? She's had virtually no work since that episode…still curious though.

Vicky Shen is too irrelevant.

It might be Stana Katic (half of "Castle"), who guest-starred during season 3, in the episode with Ricky Gervais, as a flight attendant. Interesting note: She's being written off Castle now because Nathan Fillion apparently doesn't like her and she's "not the crew's most favorite person to work with." So maybe it's her? Also, when she guest-starred on Alias, Castle wasn't even on yet, so it makes sense that she might have been seeking for roles back then (including the ABC show Abrams mentioned).

If it's not her, the next likely candidate would be Faye Dunaway. Followed by Vivica A. Fox.

Can all but confirm it was Faye Dunaway. My dad worked on the show and I remember he said everyone complained about her. She got the nickname Dun Fadeaway!

Ha! I remember people referring to her as Face-Dun-Away at the time

Ironically, I actually enjoyed her character.

I heard that and according to rumours the actress was Amy Acker and during the last season she was said to be very difficult for the cast to work with and was still annoyed over Angel being cancelled.

I don't believe this for one second. Almost all of her work has come from people who have worked with her on other jobs. If she was such a nightmare to work with, no one would work with her twice.
